Spain Square (Aguilas - Murcia)

Spain Square (Aguilas)

In the gardens of Spain Square, a century-old ficus from Brazil stands out, in addition to a great variety of trees and plants of different species. It was built in 1874 and in the center is a fountain containing a sculpture popularly known as "La Pava de la Balsa".

Eight of the main streets of the city converge in this square, which makes it the nerve center of Aguilas. Around it, one can see several facades of great beauty from the 19th century, highlighting the Neo-Mudéjar façade of the Aguilas Town Hall.
