What to do in the Vega Media del Segura


The Vega Media del Segura region has beautiful towns that offer an infinity of places worth visiting.

One of the most beautiful buildings in this region is the Hermitage of Saint Roch. This red and white domed building is located on the outskirts of Ceuti and delights visitors with its impressive architecture, which captures the gaze of whoever passes through the area. Art lovers cannot miss the Antonio Campillo House Museum, where you can see a unique collection and learn about the artist's work. This museum is located in one of the noble 19th-century buildings within the pedestrianized historic area of Ceuti.

Visiting Alguazas is another good plan, with a highlight being its Church of Saint Onuphrius, which dates back to 1574 and has elements from different periods and styles. Alguazas is located between the Segura and Mula rivers and is a town characterized by its tranquillity. It is full of traditional bars and small shops, making it an ideal place to enjoy with the family.

In Las Torres de Cotillas, you can see vestiges of the passage of the Romans through the region and discover its emblematic buildings such as the Church of Our Lady of La Salceda, from the 18th century, and the Palace of the d'Estoup.

The nature of Lorqui will make one fall in love with its cane fields and the green orchards that decorate the white hills surrounding the area. It is essential to visit the Church of Saint James the Great and the Water Wheel of “Rapao”, declared a Monument of National Artistic Interest.
