What to do in the Vega Media del Segura

The Vega Media del Segura region has beautiful towns that offer an infinity of places worth visiting.

One of the most beautiful buildings in this region is the Hermitage of Saint Roch. This red and white domed building is located on the outskirts of Ceuti and delights visitors with its impressive architecture, which captures the gaze of whoever passes through the area. This museum is located in one of the noble 19th-century buildings within the pedestrianized historic area of Ceuti.

Visiting Alguazas is another good plan, with a highlight being its Church of Saint Onuphrius, which dates back to 1574 and has elements from different periods and styles. Alguazas is located between the Segura and Mula rivers and is a town characterized by its tranquillity. The nature of Lorqui will make one fall in love with its cane fields and the green orchards that decorate the white hills surrounding the area. It is essential to visit the Church of Saint James the Great and the Water Wheel of “Rapao”, declared a Monument of National Artistic Interest.
