Patron Saint Festivities

 

For two weeks in December, the inhabitants of Mazarron enjoy the festivities in honour of their patroness saint, the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.
 
 
 

Pilgrimage of Bolnuevo

 

The Pilgrimage of Bolnuevo is celebrated on November 17. It is the biggest celebration in the town, attracting thousands of people from all over the region of Murcia and the rest of Spain.
 
 
 

Our Lady of Mount Carmel

 

The residents of the Port of Mazarron accompany the Virgin of Carmel on their boats every July 16, in a maritime-terrestrial procession that ends at the Church of Saint Joseph.
 
 
 

Virgin of the Assumption

 

The residents of the Port of Mazarron celebrate the day of the Virgin of the Assumption every August 15 with a varied array of cultural events on the different promenades of the Bay of Mazarron.

The Port of Mazarron celebrates its festivities in honour of Saint Joseph every March 19 with a multitude of activities for all audiences.
 
 
 

Carnival

 

The Mazarron Carnival festivities are concentrated into four days of partying and celebration. The Carnival parade through the main streets of the town stands out.
