The Nicolas Salzillo Museum houses great jewels of Lorca's imagery, among which “La Mesa de los Apóstoles”—a work created in 1700 by the maestro Nicolas Salzillo—stands out, as do different works by Roque López, an outstanding disciple of Francisco Salzillo. It also has a beautiful collection of banners, embroidery, 3D audiovisuals, and other samples of the Paso Morado heritage.
A few meters away is the headquarters of the brotherhood of Paso Morado (Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness), the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It is a convent church, built in the second half of the 18th century. Its interior stands out, as it has a rich rococo decoration, while its exterior is a clear example of the Baroque style.
