Pipe Fountain (Lorca - Murcia)

Pipe Square (Lorca)

Formerly, this was where all the residents went to stock up on basic products such as meat, fish, and vegetables. That is why it was known as “Verdulería” Square.

In the middle of the 19th century, the final section of the water pipe—which, until then, had been in the nearby main square—was moved to this square. At that time, it changed its name and took the one that characterizes it today.
