Routes & Trails in Fuente Alamo de Murcia

Fuente Alamo de Murcia is a town of just over 270 square kilometres and nearly 18,000 inhabitants. Its human presence dates back to Roman times; due to its geographical location, it was ideal for settlement. Currently, it is experiencing great tourist development, especially due to its routes and trails.

The shortest route is Villa Eulalia-La Pinilla, which is a little more than 6 linear kilometres. It crosses beautiful rural roads and offers the opportunity to see the beauty of the place and visit heritage ruins, including an abandoned railway track and a religious temple. The Villa Eulalia-Las Palas-Tallante Route is also linear and almost 10 kilometres long. It offers views of dry land and irrigated crops, as well as beautiful natural landscapes.

Twelve kilometres in length, the Algarrobo Path is a circular route and the longest in Fuente Alamo de Murcia. Here, you can see spectacular landscapes passing through leafy rural hamlets. A variant of the Algarrobo Path is the Las Palas-El Algarrobo Route, which is about 7 kilometres of linear track.

Slightly longer but with a linear route is the Villa Eulalia-Cuevas del Reyllo, which travels along rural routes crossing beautiful crops. Its greatest attraction is the opportunity to visit the famous Cuevas del Reyllo. Also linear, the Villa Eulalia-Fuente Alamo Route is shorter and crosses an abandoned railway track that is part of the Camino de la Vera Cruz del Campo de Cartagena.

The last route, the Fuente de la Pinilla Path, is a circular route almost 10 kilometres long. Its main attraction is that it crosses two environments: one rural and the other more ecological.
