Patron Saint Festivities. These are celebrated between the last week of April and the first week of May in honour of the Holy Cross. They merge with the Moors and Christians Festival, which has been celebrated in Abanilla since 1598.

Annual meeting of Auroros. This is celebrated in October. Different regional groups meet to give a sample of this song declared an Asset of Intangible Cultural Interest.

International Folklore Festival. This has been held on the first Saturday of August since 1983. Numerous Spanish and foreign groups participate.

Festival of the Virgin of Fátima (La Umbria). This is celebrated on May 13.

Festival of Saint John Baptist (La Casa Cabrera). This is celebrated on June 24.

Festival of Saint Peter (El Partidor). This is celebrated on June 29.

Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Cañada de la Leña). This is celebrated on July 15.

Festival (Peña Zafra de Abajo). This is celebrated the last weekend of July.

Festival of the Virgin of the Assumption (El Tolle). This is celebrated on August 15.

Festival of Saint John Baptist (Macisvenda). This is celebrated on August 29.

Festival of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (El Canton). This is celebrated on September 1.

Festival of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (Mahoya). This is celebrated on September 14.

Festival of the Virgin of the Rosary (Barinas). This is celebrated on September 20.

Festival of the Immaculate Conception (Salado Alto). This is celebrated on September 25.
 
 

      Fortuna

 
Iberian-Roman Sodales Festival. This is celebrated in mid-August in honour of Saint Roch, patron saint of the town. It has been declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest.   Video

Carnival. In recent years, the carnival has become a popular festival long awaited by the inhabitants of Fortuna.

Holy Week. Holy Week in Fortuna stands out for the beauty of its processional steps.

Easter Monday. This is celebrated around the Black Cave, to consume the traditional “mona de Pascua”.

Kalendas Aprili. This is celebrated seven days after the end of Holy Week. This festival commemorates the pilgrimages that were made during Roman times to the Black Cave.

Festival of Saint Isidore. This is celebrated on May 15, the day of Saint Isidore the Farmer. It is a deeply rooted festival given the agricultural tradition of the municipality.
