Saint Roch Hermitage (Molina de Segura - Murcia)

Saint Roch Hermitage (Molina de Segura)

This simple hermitage is characterized by its unique facade, painted in striking colours, now blue, but which on other occasions was also known to have reddish tones.

Its construction, not very extensive, was carried out between 1835 and 1850. Inside, one can see the image of Saint Roch, to whom homage is paid there. In it, the saint can be seen accompanied by an angel and a dog with bread in his mouth.

It is also possible to admire a large number of images referring to the Holy Christ of Sorrows, which were made by the famous local sculptor Bernabé Gil.
