This is located in the Castle neighbourhood, in the place where the old Hermitage of Saint Roch was formerly built.
The Brotherhood is made up of approximately 800 brothers and was founded in 1991 with the primary objective of returning the Good Friday procession to the town of Molina de Segura. This festival starts from the hermitage with the image of Christ of Consolation and culminates with the image of the Virgin of the Solitude. Walk the main streets of the city and return to the place where it came from.
Inside the Hermitage, the Chapel of Santo Cristo Yacente is housed, which is accompanied by the image of the Virgin of the Solitude. In addition to the famous celebration of the Good Friday procession, in the hermitage, various activities are carried out throughout the year for the inhabitants of the area to participate with their families. One can enjoy photographic exhibitions, the famous Christmas nativity scene, concerts, and plays.
