Saint Augustine Hermitage was built in 1570 and reformed at the end of the 18th century.
In 1940, the image of the Transit of Our Lady (The Assumption of Mary), an image of the Valencian sculptor Ignacio Pinazo, patroness saint of Jumilla, was transferred to its interior.
The hermitage consists of a nave, with side chapels and a small transept that rests on a high drum, with some blind windows.
