Patron Saint Festivities

 

Totana celebrates its patron saint festivities in honour of Saint James the Great with endless activities. The big day is July 25.
 
 
 

Saint Eulalia of Mérida

 

The festival in honour of Saint Eulalia of Mérida, patroness saint of Totana, had its beginnings in the 17th century. On December 9, the image is moved in procession to the Church of Saint James. On December 10, the day of Saint Eulalia, the image goes through the streets of Totana. On January 7, the "Pilgrimage of La Santa" takes place, when the image returns in procession to the Hermitage.
