This Church is located where an old temple previously stood, demolished in 1971.
The current construction, with its unique polygonal plan, houses several sculptures and works of important artistic and religious value. Among them is the altarpiece, called "The Creation", which consists of a mosaic made with stones from “El Cabezo Gordo” and which owes its name to the fact that it contains all the elements of creation.
You can also find inside sculptures such as the crucified Christ and the Virgin of the Rosary, who is considered the patron saint of the city and who is worshiped in this church that bears the same name.
