To pay tribute to the founders of the town and to all the residents who worked for its prosperous future, an old Ferris wheel was restored—a symbol of work and dedication, currently exhibited in a local garden.
The Ferris wheel is a construction that, with the help of a pack animal, was used to extract water from wells. This one in particular was given by the Barnuevo family, founder of the place, and belonged to the “Torre Mínguez” farm, which gave rise to the town of Santiago de la Ribera.
