Saint Eulalia Wall Visitor Centre (Murcia)

This important archaeological centre houses sections of the medieval city walls and their different transformations.

The centre is located in Saint Eulalia Square and consists of two floors that offer visitors the possibility of knowing the history of the walls, as well as the development of the city from the 9th to 18th centuries.

It is also possible to enjoy a magnificent representation of what the Santa Eulalia neighbourhood was like in Muslim times. In the excavation where it is located, the remains of the old Medina Wall, the “Antemuralla de Santa Eulalia”, and the tower that served as the gateway to it are preserved.

The construction of the centre is very attractive and at the same time simple, made with materials such as steel, glass, and wood, which try to safeguard the archaeological remains as much as possible.
