Monteagudo Visitor Centre (Murcia)

Monteagudo Visitor Centre (Murcia)

This centre offers its visitors the possibility of knowing the history of the settlements that populated the Monteagudo area, which includes all types of civilizations such as Roman, Arab, Iberian, and Argaric.

This building, founded in 2013, houses innumerable archaeological finds, among which you can find a funeral trousseau belonging to the Argaric period, a Roman road, and a room completely dedicated to the Muslim era of greatest splendour, which occurred during the reign of the “Rey Lobo”.

Each civilization is represented in a separate room along with its archaeological finds, illustrated recreations, photos, and videos that show us over 50 centuries of history.
