Cathedral Museum (Murcia)

Cathedral Museum (Murcia)

This museum is a custodian of numerous finds and important religious artworks spanning from Roman times to the present day.

For its exhibition, the space occupied by the old Gothic cloister of the Murcia Cathedral from the 14th century was chosen. It has undergone major renovations to preserve its original structure as much as possible.

Within its collection are countless components worth seeing, such as Renaissance paintings, stone sculptures, Gothic altarpieces, goldsmith items, and even a collection of ecclesiastical vestments. The visit also offers the possibility of seeing the Cathedral Tower and part of the remains of the old Arab mosque on which the building is located.
