This important neoclassical theatre, listed as one of the best in the country, is located in the historic centre of the city. Its initial grand opening was carried out by Queen Elizabeth II in 1862 and throughout its history, it has undergone several modifications until it reached its current condition.
Its imposing facade occupies its upper part with three busts of historical artists: Beethoven, Mozart, and Liszt. The interior ceiling is fascinating and covered by the works of great Murcian artists, while its large horseshoe-shaped assembly hall has three levels of boxes.
Its entire structure results in excellent technical and acoustic conditions that allow the spectator to fully enjoy the show.
