Formed by the Church of Saint John of God, archaeological remains of the “Alcázar Mayor”, and a space dedicated to the sculptor González Moreno, this set draws attention for its beautiful dome decorated with scenes from Saint John of God.
The church, from the 18th century, with its oval central nave, is surrounded by six chapels where the main altar is housed. On its ground floor, the remains of an old Muslim fortress and the 30-meter-long wall that belonged to the main defensive line of the city are preserved. In this place, you can also find the remains of the arch of an old oratory with its original decoration.
