To pay homage to the orchard worker, i.e., an important figure in the municipality, the City Council ordered the construction of this imposing sculpture.
It reaches a dimension of 3 meters high and is located in Las Peñas Huertanas Park.
During the second fortnight of August each year, this park serves as a meeting point and celebration of the typical regional festival, "International Week of the Orchard and the Sea", where you can enjoy the folklore, gastronomy, culture and traditions of the town.
The Orchard Worker is a work by a sculptor from Cartagena, Galo Conesa, and is made entirely of bronze.
