Mining Park (La Union)
This was inaugurated in 2010 so that visitors could learn how the miners worked inside the mines, as well as about the manufacture and operation of the machines.
Through guided tours, it is possible to learn about the mining processes throughout its history, through the remains that have been recovered in their natural environment. Undoubtedly, the most interesting thing about the park is that it allows one to experience the sensation of touring over 4,000 square meters of galleries of a mine open to the public.
Guided tours include a visit to the Agrupa Vicenta Mine, a tour of the park on the Mining Train, and a visit to other facilities of interest. The tour lasts about two hours.
