This is a site consisting of a building located in the old part of the city, where the old forum was located. It was one of the most important places in the city at that time.

This building had the function of a college of augustales (priests of the cult of the Emperor Octavian Augustus) and its construction dates from between the first and second centuries. This is where the priests met to worship their emperor.

It is a building with a design conceived to highlight the greatness of its honoured Emperor Augustus. An imposing decoration with luxurious marble floors stands out.
