Train Museum (Aguilas - Murcia)

Train Museum (Aguilas)

This was created in 1985 by the Association of Friends of the Railway "El Labradorcico" and is located in the basement of the Aguilas Railway Station.

The museum contains many photographs related to the history of the railway from Lorca to Baza and Aguilas, mainly from the late 19th century. It also stands out for the large number of instruments and objects of past times used in the railway industry, such as flame lanterns, clocks, uniform caps, apparatuses and tools for workshops and tracks, etc.

Perhaps the most notable feature is a 1:22 scale model with trains running— the largest in the world. The collection contains about 500 objects.
