These are the remains of Roman baths dated from the 1st century AD, more specifically, part of a caldarium (hot bath room).
The preserved archaeological remains are complemented by a small exhibition where one can see the plan and the reconstruction of this thermal building.
Aguilas has a second thermal building (eastern terms) that is located next to the Saint Joseph Church and that was built in the 2nd century AD.
